City advises of planned electricity supply maintenance in Century City, surrounds

The City advises residents in Century City and surrounds of upcoming critical electricity supply interruptions for infrastructure repair, which will be carried out from Saturday, 11 October 2025, at 20:00 until Sunday, 12 October 2025, at 06:00. The City apologises for any inconvenience caused while the essential repair is being carried out.

It is important to note that interruptions to supply will only impact the highlighted areas on the maps and only on the relevant date. The work will be carried out from 20:00 on 11 October until 06:00 on 12 October, if all goes to plan.

Please note:
The electricity supply could be restored at any time and customers must please treat all electrical installations as live for the full duration of the planned maintenance work. Residents are encouraged to switch off appliances as a precaution to avoid damage caused by power surges when the power comes back on. The City apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their cooperation and understanding.
